Should I need to upgrade my designation in my workplace?
I'm in a software company. I'm here in this company from past 3years. As per my performance, I've successfully upgraded my designation from Jr. Software Developer to Software Developer. In this meantime, I've also upgraded my development and programming skills. Like for e.g When I was hired I have the following skills:
- HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, and JQuery - (Client-side)
- ASP.NET (C# & Visual Basic) (Server-side)
- My SQL, T-SQL
Following are the skills which I have upgraded within Three Years:
Softwares
- Familiar and worked with AI, PS for making prototyping / icons / wireframing
UI Frameworks
- Familiar and worked with IONIC (>=2.x), Semantic UI, Angular Material, Bootstrap
Languages
- Worked with ASP.Net MVC, ASP.Net Core (>=1.x), Java, Angular (>=2.x), MEAN Stack, Firebase
Databases
- Worked with Mongo DB and Azure
Hybrid Applications
- Worked and build applications using Ionic and NativeScript
Now, using the above skills I've developed several Hybrid and Web applications including freelance work. Now, this is a month of our appraisals and also an opportunity to upgrade my designation. After so much searching on the internet and I have evaluated my designation would be the Full Stack DotNet Developer as per my JD without including my Hybrid Application Skills.
Here is some ref# which I've searched:
full stack developer is readmore...
6 Essential Tips on How to Become a Full Stack Developer
I have also full fill some basic self-requirements which are also an essential factor to become a full stack developer.
- Global thinking
- Good communication skills
- Creativity
- Curiosity
- Time management skills
Now let make it short. I found that to became a Dot Net full stack developer will be a person who has complete knowledge of both Front End and Back End required to build a fully functional Dot Net application.
- HTML
- CSS
- Bootstrap
- JavaScript
- jQuery/ Angular JS
- AJAX
- Web API
- C#
- SQL Server (database)
- ASP.NET( Ado.Net + Stack Management Techniques)
- MVC/ Asp.Net Core
as mentioned here.
Question
Now my question is break into three parts
1- Should I need to upgrade my designation from Software Developer to Full Stack DotNet Developer?
2- What is exact or related designation of mine if I'm doing full stack DotNet and hybrid application development?
3- Suggest me a designation accordingly with my skills.
