Biography
Lloyd was born in Glasgow, Scotland. His mother Jane was Scottish and his father Edmund was Welsh. Lloyd started his career as a singer and stage actor in London.[1] He is Scotland's first Academy Award winner and is unique in film history, having received three Oscar nominations in 1929 for his work on a silent film (The Divine Lady), a part-talkie (Weary River) and a full talkie (Drag). He won for The Divine Lady. He was nominated and won again in 1933 for his adaptation of Noël Coward's Cavalcade and received a further Best Director nomination in 1935 for perhaps his most successful film, Mutiny on the Bounty.
In 1957 he was awarded the George Eastman Award, given by George Eastman House for distinguished contribution to the art of film.[3]
On February 8, 1960, Lloyd received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his contributions to the motion pictures industry, at 6667 Hollywood Boulevard.[4][5]

Lloyd died 10 August 1960 and was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.[6]

Troll s are mythical creatures found in Games Workshop's Warhammer Fantasy fictional universe. Contents 1 Description 2 Varieties 2.1 Stone Trolls 2.2 River Trolls 2.3 Chaos Trolls Description Trolls are usually depicted as large, ugly, clumsy brutes, with thick skin. Though they vary greatly in appearance, they are all big, stupid and hungry. Trolls are able to vomit up the contents of their hideous stomach at will, which is particularly bad as troll digestive acids are among the most corrosive substances in the Warhammer world. The metabolism of trolls is such that although apparently knocked down and killed they can regenerate and recover unless decapitated. Trolls are not numerous nor organized enough to form armies of themselves. They are employed by some, such as the Orcs & Goblins because their stupidity makes them of excellent value. Varieties Besides the bog standard "common troll," there are a number of differen...
