C# webform developer, what skill to learn to stay desired

0

I have been a webform c# developer for 7 years now. I am thinking of seeking a new job. I have also good skills in html, css, tsql. However, there is not many webform c# positions offered anymore. All I see wanted is MVC. I have very little knowledge in C# MVC. Therefore I am thinking about learning on my own new skills. I am not sure what is best wanted at this time and what is best in term of salary.

I am looking for opinions about how I could boost my profile to be hired quickly at a good rate (> 90k/yr + health insurance + paid time off) on the market for web developer in the US, State of NY.

Thank you

  • What market? Front end or back end? What country? What do you consider a "good rate"? Are you concerned about benefits? Consulting for FTE?
